Current

Delta House is currently a dated and underused office building with a 65% vacancy rate, falling short of modern workspace and environmental standards.

We propose a sensitive and sustainable refurbishment and extension of the building to: 

  • Increase high-quality commercial floor space 

  • Improve sustainability and energy efficiency of the building 

  • Enhance accessibility and modernise facilities 

  • Respect and restore the building's Georgian frontage 

Proposed

 Key elements of the proposal include: 

  • A new, modest single-storey rooftop extension 

  • Rationalisation and modest extension to the rear 

  • Full internal refurbishment to meet modern office standards 

  • Redesign of the ground-level shopfront in keeping with the building’s heritage 

  • Creation of high-quality roof terraces for biodiversity and amenity space
